End of Season Dinner, Awards and Dancing 2010

(insert girlie sound here)

On friday night, LMS decended on Sweet Basil Thai in Rathmines for a bit of cheap and tasty grub, followed by a lovely awards ceremony put together by the amazing Liz.  Is there no end to her talents?

In terms of the biggies, the awards were as follows:

A-Game : Claire Pugh

As you can see, each player received and amazing gold statuate for their efforts.  But getting on to the far more important awards of the year....

Heather - Sockeye sleaze award, Hot dad award 2010

Jen - Most grazes of the year 2010/ Nurse Eddie award for most supportive boyfriend

Laura - We wouldn't be here without you award/ Most forgetful 2010

Liz - Most unfortunate injury 2010/Sexiest player alive 2010

Louise/Mandy - 'Wandering off alone but returning unscathed despite playing the slapping/balancing on a pole game' award 2010

Lucy (not present) - 'Sun's out, guns out' award for Best Guns 2010

Olly - "I'll definitely be at the next tournament" award/ Actually has a life outside of frisbee award

SJ - Best at injuring the opposition award 2010/ Joint recipient of Deepest sleeper award

Yvonne - "I guess we'll take you back' award 2010

Each person received a special edition, hand crafted, extremely expensive ring for their efforts during the year, which will remain with that player to hand down through the generations.

We then happily braved the cold to walk to Claire's house 5 minutes away without any moaning or whining, had a few pre-drinks, scanned the internet for free entry nightclubs after midnight, and ended up in the Odeon.  Cheap drinks and cheesy dancing, what more could a girl want? Maybe a load of hideous photos on Facebook to comemeorate the night?  Done!
